The KTM 250 Adventure is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine, delivering:

• Maximum Power: 31 PS @ 9250 rpm
• Maximum Torque: 25 Nm @ 7250 rpm
• 6-speed gearbox with Quickshifter+ for smoother gear shifts.

The SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) setup in the 250 Adventure is tuned for linear power delivery, ensuring smooth throttle response and fuel efficiency. It offers strong mid-range performance ideal for city riding, highway cruising, and light off-road adventures.

Why does the KTM 250 Adventure use an SOHC engine instead of DOHC like the 390 Adventure?

KTM chose an SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) engine for the 250 Adventure to:
