EVENT REGISTRATION

Where do I register for a tour?

Please refer to the below website for details, schedule & registration. You can book a Tour / Ride / Track day by navigating to the individual property pages. After booking, payment should also be done at the same destination.

When will the event dates be updated?

We will populate schedule 60-75 days in advance on our webpage. Now, there are 7 Adventure tours, 7 rides & 2 Track days with details live on our website.

What are the details which I should be entering in the booking form? Do I have a coupon code?

Please have your Chassis number, Driving license number & insurance details handy before starting the registration. There is no “coupon code” as such

Is the booking transferrable to another previous owner?

No. Once booked, the details of the actual participant should match with the booking details.

If I’m an existing owner, can I avail a special price? If not, how much should I pay?

There is no special price. We have a regular price for participation. All the participants are KTM owners.

Key timelines which I should remember

The tours & rides will be conducted as per itinerary. Please take a week time prior to the tour / ride start date to get your vehicle & yourself ready

What exactly is a KTM guided motorcycle tour?

Every KTM Adventure Tour / KTM Ride is conducted on specially curated routes, guided by master trainers who comes with professional expertise in Touring & biking.

When would the bookings close?

Bookings for each tour will close 7 days before the tour start date

DURATION

How long is this event?

KTM Adventure Tour: 5 days with KTM certified experts / 10 days with master trainer. This is exclusive to KTM Adventure motorcycle owners only.

KTM Pro Rides: 4 days with KTM certified experts. This is exclusive to KTM Duke and RC range owners only.

KTM Track days: 1 day with scheduled slots on track and classroom. Event will be with master trainers & certified experts from KTM. This is exclusive to KTM Duke and RC range owners only.

PARTICIPATION TIMING

Can I drop off or join in between?

Participants can join the tours / rides at the joining locations mentioned in our website. However, if someone chooses to drop off in between, he/she can do so after informing the master trainer / expert.

11. What if I want to join at some other location / other town on the way as per tour map? Will I get any concession in my overall tour MRP?

No

How many participants are included in each tour?

There will be a maximum of 20 KTM riders per tour / ride.

13. Can the tours be cancelled or re-scheduled ?

KTM reserves all right to close the registration in case the tour reaches maximum participation. A tour is subject to be called off or rescheduled basis lower participation or any unforeseen circumstances. Please refer to the Force Majeure section of our T&C on our website.

PAYMENT RELATED

If I had paid and the event is canceled, how will I get my refund?

In case of no re-schedule within 3 months of the booked tour date, we will refund the money

What is your cancelation policy?

A participant who wishes to cancel should do so 75-30 days from the event date. He will then be allowed to reschedule for the same destination for up to 90 days from the original departure date. In case of no re-scheduling possibility within 3 months of the booked tour date, we will refund the full booking amount to the source.

Can I pay as cash in one of your showrooms?

No. Payment is directly taken through the online link at the booking page of every tour / ride.

VEHICLE & GEARS

Can I rent a bike and participate in the event?

No. The vehicle should be the same for which one has provided details at the time of booking.

Can I participate with my friend’s motorcycle?

The vehicle with which one is participating should be a KTM and the same for which one has provided details at the time of booking. If it is a friend’s motorcycle, please get a letter of NOC rom the registered owner with the vehicle details clearly mentioned.

If I own a Duke, can I participate in an Adventure event?

KTM Adventure tours are only for KTM Adventure vehicle owners. For KTM Duke & RC customers, they can participate in either a KTM Ride / KTM Track Day

Insurance applicability in case of a crash?

The same is under bounding and guidelines of the insurance taken while the purchase of the motorcycle. We do not provide additional insurance for the rides / tours.

What are the gears which I should be carrying?

Mandatory gear: ECE / DOT / ISI / SNELL certified helmets; Riding boots / Ankle length shoes; Jeans

Recommended gear: Riding jacket & Jeans with CE approved armour; Riding gloves with knuckle protection (warm liner recommended depending on weather)Please refer to our website for additional details

Will you help me with contacts if I want to rent my gears?

No. Please do purchase or rent out recommended gears before the ride / tour.You may choose to contact your nearest KTM showroom for local contact persons.

Will you provide gears at rent during the event?

No. Please do purchase or rent out recommended gears before the ride / tour.

Do I need to carry my own gear?

Yes.

MISCELLANEOUS

What all things do you recommend me to carry for the event?

Covid vaccination(Both doses) personal & vehicle documents; clothing; hydration; toiletries; first-aid kit; basic tool kit; rope; spare key; high energy snacks; warmers & rain protection wear For more details, please refer individual tour docket which is updated on our webpage

Will there be a transit reimbursement?

No. Expenses from the home location of the participant to the tour / ride origin is borne by the participant which includes his personal travel & transportation of the vehicle including transit insurance if any.

Is a pillion rider allowed?

All rides & tours are allowed with a single rider. Participants will be traveling with luggage, take detours, travel through different terrains like a true biker.

Is Fuel expense covered under the package?

No. Fuel expenses are additionally to be paid by the participant at refueling stations

Cost to origin? (eg. If am starting from Mumbai to start location / event location)

No. We don’t cover transit expenses including transit insurance

What is going to be level of difficulty of the tour / route of the tour?

The tour is open for any type of rider (Beginner or expert). The experiences are specially curated such that there is learning for every type of rider.

How long are the daily riding hours?

250~450Km on highways/7-8hrs of riding time per day depending on route and traffic.

32. What all is included in these KTM tours/rides?

Meals, stay, Medical assistance, Convoy vehicle, Basic first aid training.

What’s not included?

Riders will be responsible for paying for their own fuel, meals and snacks and anything else not listed or provided as per the tour/ride itinerary

How can I keep in touch with friends and family during the trip? What are points where I will get good network?

We will share the locations where in network is available in the itinerary. The lead rider will highlight the network area during the ride and while taking stops.

What is pre-Preparedness to be followed prior for the tour for rider as well as for the bike?

Please follow guidelines given at our microsite. Covid vaccination(Both doses) mandatory for the rider. Please do a full checkup of your vehicle at your nearest KTM service center.

What if a rider wants to return or leave the tour in the mid-way or separate out from the group?

All the services included in the package will be not be accompanied in case of such scenario and neither a refund would be provided. If someone chooses to drop off in between, he/she can do so after informing the master trainer / expert.

What if I want to go to some other location for sightseeing or ride on a different trail?

All the services included in the package will be not be accompanied in case of such scenario. However, if the rider is back with the group. The services remain the same as for others.

Will the organizer provide me the banking / medical/fueling ATM facilities available on the route?

All the information will be sent on your mail / What app. For more details please refer microsite.

ACCOMODATION / ITINERARY

What is the accommodation and food like?

Campsite, hotel & guest house will be provided with lodging and meals.

What are the roads we will take?

The tours and rides are specially curated. Pitstops till destination differ for each tour which is detailed in our webpage

What happens if due to any natural reason (Unpredictable weather or storm or landslide) we stop or change our route or postpone the ride?

The tour organizer/lead rider will have a backup plan for all the arrangements. All the services under such circumstances will be taken care by the organizing company. Please refer to the Force Majeure in the terms & conditions section in our website.

INSURANCE

Should there be a personal insurance for myself? What should it be?

It is recommended that you should have a medical insurance & accidental insurance with lifetime cover. You may carry your insurance policy details along with you.

EXPERTS

Who is the expert rider and what specialized skill can I learn from him / her?

We have expert riders like Nilesh Dhumal, Ouseph Chacko, Varad More, Philippe Geelhand, Emmanuel Jebaraj who are experts in tours, rides & track riding. You can check out their profiles on social media. We will be updating who will be the expert for every tour / ride in the individual tour / ride itinerary.

Will the rides come with certification?

Yes, you would be awarded a participation certificate on completing the full tour / ride. For track days, you get a participation certificate which one can then use to secure a FMSCII license.

Do I get to choose the master trainer?

The details of the tour along with master trainer who will be involved is in our schedule. You can pick a schedule based on your preference

When will the tour dates with master trainer be published?

We will populate schedule 60-75 days in advance on our microsite

SERVICES

What is our scope of services? Ones you will get and one you will not.

A detailed T&C will be updated on our web page where we have given inclusions and exclusions

What if rider doesn’t want to return and end the tour per the same itinerary and wants to stay more or continue the tour?

The dates for starting and ending of the tour is fixed. Post closure of the tour all the other expenses will be borne by the individual.

What medical services will you be providing in case of an emergency?

A paramedic will always be available enroute. However, in case of emergency, person will be taken to the nearest hospital.

What happens if my motorcycle breaks down?

Service vehicle with mechanic and necessary spares will be part of the tour all the time. Vehicle will be taken to nearby KTM service center in case major repairs are required. We will be providing orange assist to all riders. However, all other expenses related to spares will be borne by the rider.

TRANSPORT

How do we transport our bikes? Do you provide them?

No. Expenses from the home location of the participant to the tour / ride origin is borne by the participant which includes his personal travel & transportation of the vehicle including transit insurance if any.

Event: Adventure Academy

Who can participate and what is the maximum number of riders per batch?

Only KTM 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure owners. Max 20 riders

What is the itinerary?

Reporting Time : 06:30 am - Registration - Briefing – Flag Off – Reaching Venue – Breakfast – Trail Riding Briefing – Training - Feedback

What is the duration of the event?

Half-day through curated routes – 70% trail / 30% tarmac

Only KTM 250cc and 390cc owners. Max 20 riders
